Farrah Fawcett

  

Farrah L. Fawcett was born Ferrah Lee Fawcett from February 2nd, 1947 until June 25 the year 2009. Fawcett was who received a four-time Primetime Emmy Award nomination and six-time Golden Globe Award candidate rose to international acclaim after she appeared in the lead role in the debut season of Charlie's Angels.



 



 Fawcett's career began in the 1960s when she appeared on television commercials as well as other guest roles. She appeared in a variety of TV shows in the 1970s, along with Lee Majors, her husband who was a television and film actor. The iconic red swimming suit poster sold 6 million copies in its first year in print. Fawcett's breakthrough role was that of the private investigator Jill Munroe in Charlie's Angels in which she co-starred with Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. The three actresses all rose to stardom on the show. Fawcett left Charlie's Angels after appearing in the premiere season of the show in 1976. Then, she appeared as guest-starring on six episodes of the show's fourth and third seasons (1978-1980). Fawcett received her first Golden Globe nomination for her work on Charlie's Angles.
